Sam was excellent to work with from design to overseeing renovation and final inspection. Contractor Scott Rogers was wonderful. We have hired The Property Experts for multiple jobs at our nearly 80-year-old home, starting with a nasty garage that had never been remodeled. I say nasty because it required ripping out a rotten ceiling that had housed generations of varmints. Sam’s guys transformed a complete eyesore into an attractive, very functional space for our car and storage, including replacing most of the roof structure, installing an electric door, landscaping to curb water seepage, adding urban-chic lighting, replacing guttering and trim, painting, and even unearthing a pretty stone walkway in the back.
Next job–rewiring the interior of our home–another seriously nasty job, since we have shredded insulation in the attic. Their guys removed ancient knob-and-tube wiring, removed aluminum wiring, and reconfigured the new wiring–we can now use two blow dryers at once. They installed a new chandelier for us, too. Finally, a Property Experts crew tackled our exterior trim this summer with scraping, priming, and painting (replacing wood as needed, too). One of the guys even power-washed our front steps and walkway just because I had mentioned doing it myself!
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE PROPERTY EXPERTS–Sam is great to work with, reasonably priced, and very amiable guys. They anticipate problems, make recommendations, check in frequently mid-job, and make sure everything is nicely cleaned up afterward. Visit their beautiful store in downtown Johnson City, too! Lots of fun home furnishings!
